Sylvan LaCue, previously know as Quest, has been pretty quiet since his impressive mixtape Searching Sylvan, which was the project that jumped off our First Impression series. All of a sudden, courtesy of an Instagram post (posted below), we have some new music. Obviously inspired Dr. Dre‘s “The Watcher”, Sylvan declares “things just ain’t the same for rappers” over some potent production from Linzi Jai and Wishlade.
A little nugget of additional information that can be missed in the Soundcloud post, though, is a new project coming soon called Far From Familiar.
