While I may sound like a broken record at this point, it bears repeating that 2017 has been an amazing year for video game releases. Blockbuster titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Injustice 2 and more have proven that patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait. August is poised to continue this trend without hesitation thanks to Hellblade, Agents of Mayhem, Sonic Mania, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and more. The following is a quick list of ten standout titles that deserve your undivided attention over the next several weeks.

Agents of Mayhem is a spinoff of Saints Row and includes characters and the same comedic tone that made that series great. If you’re looking for a fun open world experience, then Agents of Mayhem was designed for you.
