The Co-op Podcast 168: Is the Xbox One S Doomed to Fail?

Written by on

Welcome back to The Co-op Podcast. As the release of the Xbox One S draws nearer, questions a yet to be answered about the performance of the console. One of it’s recommendations to get the best out of the console is that you own a 4KTV, but how much of the target audience has already bought into 4K? Also, with Microsoft already announcing Project Scorpio, will it make potential buyers more hesitant to purchase the system? We discuss the Xbox One S release in detail on this episode. Be sure to let us know your thoughts on Xbox One S below.

On June’s NPDs, PlayStation 4 is the winner yet again. We also learn that both the PS4 and Xbox One sales numbers have exceeded the total sales numbers of the PS3 and Xbox 360. This made us question whether this generation is truly better than last generation. We’d love to hear more opinions on this, so be sure to continue the discussion in the comments.

Also discussed on this episode:
– CSGO Betting Collapse (CSGO Wild / More scandals) (JJ)
Project Sonic 2017 and Sonic Mania announced for the 25th anniversary for Sonic. Your thoughts on both games?
Rise of the Tomb Raider finally coming to PS4 to celebrate the 20 year anniversary.
