Dead Rising 4 Sells Horribly, Why Don’t Xbox Fans Buy Exclusives? | Tony’s Take

Written by on

Even though Xbox fans are arguably the loudest when it comes to boasting about their console’s exclusive games, they very rarely seem to actually buy them. Sunset Overdrive, Ryse: Son of Rome, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Ori and the Blind Forest all sold poorly. Now we can now add Dead Rising 4 to that list.

Why is it that Xbox gamers do not purchase exclusive games? Is it something to do with the games themselves or does the fanbase only care about Gears of War, Halo, and Forza (all of which have also sold low on the Xbox One)? Is it a problem with the Xbox fanbase or is it with the quality of Dead Rising 4 itself? This latest Tony’s Take tries to figure out what is going on with this situation.
