A few weeks ago, Hopsin made headlines due to the rumors surfacing that he would retire. He entertained this idea at the time and had most of his listeners actually believing this to be true at the time.
In the above video we see this play out ultimately as a gag, and promotion for his upcoming Pound Syndrome project to be released sometime in 2015.
While it has yet to be seen whether or not this will serve as beneficial for the artist, what can be said is that he has now set the standard from this point forward for all of his future releases.
This isn’t the first time the retirement rumors have consumed the focal point of his artistry, and in many of his previous interviews he has hinted at the possibility of retiring and moving to Australia.
