The Last of Us: Remastered Gets Two New Free Multiplayer Maps

Written by on

The latest patch for The Last of Us for both the PS3 and PS4 will have a slew of fixes to the game. What’s most appealing about this patch however is the addition of two new multiplayer maps which will be completely free.

The two maps are called the Beach and Financial Plaza. The Beach is a map which is tailor made for those who like to kill from afar with long range weapons. The Financial Plaza is good for both long range and close range combat.

Once players start up Multiplayer, they will be prompted to go into the PlayStation Store to download the new maps. The maps for the PlayStation 4 are around 291MB and the patch is about 137MB. Conversely, the maps for the PlayStation 3 are 170MB and the patch is around 143MB.

Also keep in mind that there is a Scoped Weapons Bundle which is currently available to order from the PlayStation Store for $2.99. The four weapons available in this pack can also be bought separately for $0.99 each. This bundle is available on both the PS3 and PS4.
