Written by on

On this episode of the Co-op podcast we discuss whether or not gaming developers are getting lazy after the announcement of remakes of Resident Evil 1 and Sleeping Dogs. This week’s cast debate which type of games would merit a remake and the possible reasons for the latest trend in gaming that is remasters.

Also discussed on this week’s Co-op podcast was Ubisoft‘s announcement of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue. Will we be picking this title up once it is released? Or will it just turn out to be a throw-away game?

Twitch, who was recently bought by YouTube, has been experiencing copyright issues before the ink is even dry on the takeover contract. Is this a sign of things to come for the popular streaming site?

We also touched on other subjects including Bioware producer Casey Hudson leaving the company, the delay of Evolve and also the general trend of gaming delays. Why are they so prevalent these days?

This week’s cast: Richard Bailey Jr. (host), Gary Swaby, Charles Singletary, Austin Conway and Tom Skidmore
