There’s a chill in there and that only means one thing, the holiday season is around the corner and to get you in the spirit, Apple TV has released the debut trailer for The Family Plan 2. The Morgan family is back and this time, they’re getting out of the house to travel across the pond to spend Christmas with one of their own.
In The Family Plan 2, it’s the holiday season and Dan (Mark Wahlberg) has planned the perfect vacation for his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan) and their kids to celebrate overseas—until a mysterious figure from his past (Kit Harington) shows up with unfinished business. An international game of cat-and-mouse ensues as Dan and his family battle, bicker, and bond their way through a series of bank heists, holiday hijinks, and car chases amid scenic European terrain.
As seen in the trailer, Dan and Jessica have fully embraced being a covert assassin, as the couple get celebrate the thrill of their love around fake missions. Since we’ve last seen the Morgans, Nina has moved out and determined to stay in Europe during the Christmas season. Determined to always spend Christmas together Dan and Jessican decide the whole family will vacation with Nina, making turning their visit into a big surprise for Nina, who is blissfully living her life London.
While there, Dan picks up a quick covert job that will help fund their entire vacation, but things go array when he comes face-to-face with an enemy from his past. With this new mysterious presence taking over Dan’s father’s rolodex of assassins, the Morgan family needs to go on the run, throwing them into an unexpected trek across Europe that places all of them at the center of the action.
Mark Wahlberg (Flight Risk) and Michelle Monaghan (The White Lotus) starring as family patriarch and matriarch, Dan and Jessica, alongside Zoe Colletti (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) and Van Crosby (Splitting Up Together) as siblings Nina and Kyle, respectively. This time around, the gang will face a new but familiar-to-Dan foe, with Game of Thrones alum, Kit Harington, joining the cast.
