Earlier today, Square Enix released a brand new developer diary from their upcoming Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition video game.
The video embedded above highlights some of the advanced technology and graphical improvements that have been made to this upgraded version of the game. While I’ll be the first to admit that I’m impressed by all of these enhancements, I still don’t feel that any of these changes justify the $59.99 price tag. When you also add in the fact that this edition won’t be coming to the PC, it seems like Square Enix is essentially missing out on an opportunity to make even more off of the game.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition launches on January 28th for The Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If you’d like a detailed overview of how the original game is, then I would encourage you to check out my Tomb Raider Review for more.
Has this developer diary convinced you that this is the best version of Tomb Raider? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on this topic in the comments section below.
