Iron Man 2 is undoubtedly the biggest movie release of this summer so naturally it could do with a summer anthem to accompany it and add flair to the pre-release trailers. Swizz Beatz and Busta Rhymes were tasked with composing such an anthem and honestly they did a pretty mediocre job. Stop The Party is ironically a great party starter that will no doubt gain plenty of spins in clubs across the nation but that’s only because drunk people won’t be paying too much attention to Swizz’s generic ass hook which pops up every 8 bars. Busta does his best to salvage the track and for that I feel compelled to salute the Flipmode General. It’s just unfortunate that Swizz couldn’t craft a more creative beat and shut the hell up for more than 20 seconds at a time to let Busta fully shine.
