Nintendo are to drop the price of the Nintendo DSi unit in Japan and Europe this month, which is good news for those in the market for a DS system. The price drop should be effective from June 18th, and is likely to drop around £20-£30 in price in the UK.
“In the UK Nintendo will be reducing the trade price of Nintendo DSi to retailers from June 18, 2010,” read a statement. “The ultimate price to consumers is, of course, determined by the retailers”.
Seeing as I have been wanting to get my hands on a DS myself It looks like I will be saving up so that I can purchase one in the next couple of months. There is currently no information about a US price drop.
