Robin has now been confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming Batman: Arkham City. Though he will not be a main character in the story mode, he will be playable in the challenge mode of the game. Similar to how The Joker was playable in Arkham Asylum but only in challenge mode. The character model for robin displayed below looks very similar to the Chris O’Donnell portrayal of Robin in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. However this Robin is not actually the Dick Grayson Robin, it is in fact the Tim Drake version.
Robin will be playable for those who pre-order the game at Best-buy, with no word on how to obtain him in other regions besides the US. I’m sure we’ll all get to play as him eventually though. We’ll all be able to swoop through Arkham City this September, on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Let us know what you think of the Robin character model below.
