Just 2 weeks ago I was somewhat excited for Valve’s new Counter Strike game, Counter Strike: Global Offensive. After the official trailer for the game, I’m so-so on it. I’m glad the game exist but I’m not particularly anticipating it. As of now, Counter Strike: GO looks like…well…Counter Strike.
The new trailer shows off a bit of the Counter Strike history, as well as some gameplay from the new game. The thing that is turning me off now is that the game doesn’t seem to have taken a huge leap in the growth department. All I’m getting out of this game now is the updated graphics, which look fine but aren’t anything to write home about.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive is due out early 2012 on all platforms. Check out the official trailer below and let me know what you think.
