Warner Bros. has finally revealed an official release date for the next installment in the infamous Mortal Kombat franchise. Currently scheduled for an April 19th launch in the US and April 18th in Europe, the series reboot is expected to be as brutal and vicious as ever. In addition to the announcement, we also get a preview of the boxart for the game. PlayStation 3 owners have the exclusive added bonus of playing in 3D as God of War III protagonist, Kratos. No word yet on if Microsoft will have a playable character of their own but their is still time for that news to surface. Which version do you guys plan on picking up?
