When Carl Daniel sent me an iMessage informing me of the first single from Nicki Minaj’s sophomore LP I was hoping it would be a heat rock. Unfortunately instead of being hot, this track sounds like a hot mess. It starts off kind of ok, but then it just gradually turns into random gibberish with no structure. How this manages to be the first single of your sophomore LP is completely baffling, and this comes from somebody who enjoyed most of Nicki’s first album by the way.
