LittleBigPlanet 2 expanded so much upon what the whole Play, Create, Share concept was about that it was hard to tell what could be done next for the series. Until now, we finally get a first glimpse of the next evolution of LittleBigPlanet which is all about Kart Racing. Created by ModNation Racers developers United Front Games (in conjunction with Media Molecule), LittleBigPlanet Karting is to be released this year for the Playstation 3.
I know what you’re thinking; “Won’t this just be Modnation Racers with Sackboy?” – I thought the same thing when I first heard of this game, but you can rest assured that LittleBigPlanet will be much more dynamic than Modnation Racers was. Customizing Karts and levels creation tools will allow players to construct “far more than just kart racing games.” Not only that but it will have all the usual multiplayer functionality that we’re used to in a LittleBigPlanet game, which is brilliant!
