Today, Capcom has confirmed that they are releasing 12 new downloadable characters for Street Fighter X Tekken on July 31st. The content will be available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and retail for $19.99 ( 1600 Microsoft points). Below is a list of the characters that are included in this package:
From the Street Fighter side: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy, Sakura
And from Tekken: Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, Lei Wulong
Fans who decides to purchase Street Fighter X Tekken for the Playstation Vita will receive codes to transfer their DLC content to the Playstation 3.
Aside from the ridiculously steep pricepoint, the most controversial fact remains that all of these characters were on the original retail copies to begin with. While Capcom has said numerous times that they would improve this practice moving forward, it’s hard to believe anything will ever change if people keep investing in their products.
