Today during an investor briefing, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata stated that the company has no plans to reveal the Wii-U’s price or release date at this year’s E3. He did however confirm that the system will launch globally later this year and announced their plans to also offer first party 3DS and Wii-U titles digitally which begs the question – how big will the Wii-U’s harddrive be?
Digital games can be downloaded via the eShop or by purchasing codes from select retail locations. The first game to be released under this new regime is New Super Mario Bros. 2 which is due out in August.
