Gearbox have revealed details about their newest Vault Hunter in their PAX panel over the weekend, as well as providing information about the next DLC pack for Borderlands 2.
The sixth Vault Hunter in Borderlands 2 has been revealed as Krieg, a melee character who uses a Buzz Axe for his Action Skill, which can be used for both melee and ranged attacks. Krieg will be available to download this May for $10.
According to ShackNews: “Krieg has three skill trees: Bloodlust, Mania, and Hellborn. Bloodlust stacks accumulation like the Mechromancer, while Mania rewards you for taking damage, and Hellborn deals elemental damage while you’re set on fire.”
As well as the character reveal, Gearbox also announced the details for the next DLC pack for Borderlands 2. The ‘Ultimate Vault Hunter’ pack launches April 2 and will cost $5 if you don’t have the Season Pass. The DLC raises the level cap to 61 and includes a new difficulty mode for those wishing to play through the game for a third time.
