Busta Rhymes has released a brand new single titled “Thank You“.
Featuring Q-Tip, Kanye West and Lil Wayne, “Thank You” is the second single from his upcoming album “Extinction Level Event 2“.
The track was supposedly produced by Busta Rhymes himself and not Q-Tip. To mention Lil Wayne and Kanye West as features is being generous as their participation in the song is minimal.
When speaking about “Thank You”, Busta Rhymes told MTV:
“I just wanted to put it to bed and create an eventful moment where me and Wayne being Young Money/Cash Money on one team, Q-Tip and Kanye be on another movement on G.O.O.D. Music, just showing that camaraderie and that alliance and just making it official on a real Hip Hop level.”
Busta Rhymes’ YMCMB debut album “Extinction Level Event 2” is apparently being released this month.
