Check out Xbox’s new video entitled ‘All-In-One’ which shows a demo of some of the Xbox One’s new features. The lengthy demo is embedded above.
In the video, Microsoft’s Marc Whitten and Yusuf Mehdi show us some general use of the dashboard, which is nice so we are able to see how fast and fluid it is actually going to be. They also show the Xbox One Kinect’s automatic user detection ‘biometric sign-in’ and new Skype functionality. Lastly, the video also shows the consoles DVR functions, Upload Studio and the new OneGuide.
It all looks very smooth and seamless which I was surprised at. I had heard some bad things about the Xbox One’s dashboard but after seeing this video it puts those worries to rest. It all moves very fast and the new dashboard look surprisingly pretty. Hopefully the fact that the dashboard reserves 10% of the consoles power doesn’t detriment the console in the future too much.
Let me know in the comments what you thought of the video. Are you impressed by the new Xbox One dashboard? Do any of the new features interest you at all?
