Child actor Jaden Smith is the latest in actors turned rappers, and probably one of the youngest. Standing out on his own, seperate from his well known parents, the artist known as JADEN dropped a visual for his latest single “Hello” off his The Cool Cafe: Cool Tape Vol. 1 mixtape. The 14 year Karate Kid actor teamed with director Moises Arias for The Stuyvesants produced track.
The vid finds the MSFTS rapper wondering the streets of Brookyln as he spits a few bars in his own clothing lines’ hoodie and daps some hands. The black and white video gives a nice throwback appeal to match with his old school flow. Although at times Smith comes across as trying a little too hard to show he has swag, he definitely has some talent on the mic. As long as he doesn’t break out in a “Jiggy With it” dance, I can can co-sign this effort.
