With the popularity of Project Eternity, it was only a matter of time before an indie studio took their shot at making a quality, old-school isometric RPG. Numantian Games has recently launched their Kickstarter for Lords of Xulima, an RPG that aims to fulfill that goal. The game boasts impressive painting-style visuals and a nice looking first-person combat system that resembles the likes of the classic Wizardry franchise. Their campaign is looking to raise $10,000 but in just a few days they’ve already raised over half that amount as of the time of this writing.
Xulima looks well on its way to being funded and all of the early bird reward spots are taken already.
