Yesterday Atlus went crazy and announced three new Persona games (as well as confirming P4U for the PS3), the titles are the long awaited Persona 5, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth and Persona 4: Dancing All Night!
First of all let me show you the trailer for Persona 5, the game is coming in ‘Winter 2014’ for the PS3, the trailer is short and full of mystery. The theme this time is dark reds and the concept of slavery, I can’t wait to find out more about the game. Hopefully the series keeps the high school setting, it would be very strange if they went away from that. Persona 5 looks like an amazing reason to keep your PS3 from gathering dust in the attic.
Next of all is Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth! It is a P3/P4 spin-off on the 3DS, featuring chibi versions of the characters from both games. Considering the director of the game is directed by Etrian Odyssey IV director Daisuke Kanada I would say that the game will probably be similar to Etrian Odyssey. Persona Q is due out in Japan on June 5, 2014.
Lastly, Persona 4: Dancing All Night was announced for the PS Vita. P4D is a dancing rhythm game, using songs and characters from Persona 4. The game is due to be released ‘Late 2014; in Japan. While this may seem like a strange game you must remember that Japan loves their rhythm games, so a dancing game of the incredibly popular Persona 4 is a great news for many.

Atlus also revealed that Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold will be coming to PS3, although that game was officially revealed last month.
Well than, that’s a lot of games. Personally I loved Persona 3 and 4 so news of Persona 5 is fantastic! PQ also looks fantastic and it’s always great to have more games for the 3DS. My only hope is that Atlus and Sega are swift in localizing these games into English!
P5 releases Winter 2014 for the PS3, PQ releases June 5 on the 3DS and P4: Dancing All Night releases in late 2014.
