The latest video in the ‘Guide for Survival’ developer diaries for Tomb Raider has been released by Crystal Dynamics, this time focusing on her ‘Survival Combat‘ skills.
The video shows how Lara can use her own personal skills and her wide array of weapons in different types of combat, whether it is in close quarters or in a long distance fire-fight. The video also shows of a wide variety of gameplay, there are examples of platforming, hand-to hand combat, exploring caves and tombs and her putting to use her new crossbow in a wide range of ways.

The new Tomb Raider seems very promising so far, it seems to be balancing the puzzle and atmosphere of old Tomb Raider games and combining it with the visuals and action of the Uncharted series. I personally can’t wait to get my hands on it, not long left to wait now.
Tomb Raider is due to release March 5 on Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
