David Jagneaux and I return with special guests Asad Quadri and Garrett Glass to discuss the latest and greatest in the role-playing genre. On this episode we put the spotlight on MMO’s, more specifically the upcoming Neverwinter Free-To-Play MMO. Neverwinter goes into open beta next week, but David has already spent a lot of time with the game. Listen as him and Asad break down what makes the game so great, whether you’re familiar Dungeons & Dragon’s games or not. Other MMO’s we discuss include Darkfall: Unholy Wars and Defiance.
Also on this podcast we speak on David’s recent Q&A with CD Projekt regarding The Witcher III. CD Projekt gave us a lot of new interesting information in the Q&A so we thought we would analyze some of the important quotes from the article. The great news is that even if you missed out on the first two Witcher games you’ll still be able to enjoy this game as it’s a completely new direction for lead character Geralt.
Are you excited for Earthbound coming to Nintendo direct? Well be sure to check out our segment in which we discuss the original Earthbound game.
Just today it was announced that Nordic Games had purchased the Darksiders IP along with a few others from THQ. However when this podcast was recorded we still did not know where the game may end up, so we discussed this briefly.
Finally we spoke on the upcoming Vita game Soul Sacrifice. David recently wrote his impressions on the demo, but also be on the look out for my review coming towards the end of the month.
