Evolve Delayed Until February 2015

Earlier today, Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games confirmed that Evolve has been delayed until February 10th, 2015. This news came shortly after Take-Two Interactive released their projected earnings numbers for the rest of the year.

The game is being delayed to the give the creative team more time to focus on creating the best game as humanly possible. Having had a chance to play the game at PAX East earlier this year, I believe that Evolve will benefit from the extra time and attention it needs right now.

Evolve joins the likes of Battlefield Hardline, The Order: 1886, The Division, Batman: Arkham Knight, Dying Light, Mad Max, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as the latest game to be delayed until 2015. While delays are typically expected in this industry, the number of delays this year are especially concerning. Hopefully all of these games will end up being successful in their own unique ways when all is said and done.

Are any of you disappointed that Evolve won’t be out this year? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
