Man, oh man. 01/20/15 is the date set for Lupe Fiasco‘s new album Tetsuo & Youth and Lupe may be immediately setting the standard for the year.
Regardless of the frequent disappointments, it’s truly tough not get excited for an artist with such incredible potential.
With pre-orders becoming available tomorrow, “Madonna” was supposed to serve as motivation to throw down your money but it seems they couldn’t keep the lid on this one. Featuring the underrated songstress Nikki Jean, “Madonna [And Other Mothers In The Hood]” seems to tell the story of mothers witnessing the turbulent existence of their youth but a few more listens will certainly unravel another layer. The title alone is possibly a reference to Seminary Madonna Master but I don’t have the full understanding beyond that point.
And that Madonna delivered the adoration of the magi, the peace of man and that the body is bread and the blood is..and John and the Ceasar
