Earlier today, Microsoft and Insomniac Games revealed a teaser website for their upcoming Sunset Overdrive video game.
The website promotes an in-game promotional beverage called Overcharge Delirium XT. This product will feature a mascot named Fizzle and is expected to play an integral part within the game’s storyline. We also get a glimpse of 6 characters that will appear in the game. One of the most interesting aspects about this page is the mention of a few key tour dates that fans can expect to learn more about the product. These dates include E3 2014, San Diego Comic-Con, GamesCom 2014, and PAX Prime.
Sunset Overdrive has been described as an open world shooter that takes place in the future. The game is currently rumored to launch on the Xbox One sometime in October.
Phil Spencer has already confirmed that Microsoft will be making several huge announcements during their E3 media conference on June 9th. Sunset Overdrive is one exclusive that both Microsoft and Insomniac have remained quiet on for awhile now. Hopefully we can finally get all the answers that we have been waiting for at that time.
