Netflix reportedly in talks to make a live-action Legend of Zelda series.

Before we get into how awesome this would be, first let me say that this is just a very, very early rumor; the report from The Wall Street Journal has the company still looking for writers, so take all of this with a grain of salt.

Now that we’re through with that….oh my god, A ZELDA TV SHOW!? Can you imagine how awesome that would be? According to the report, the show will be pitched as “Game of Thrones” for a family audience”, which, just by the description, sounds extremely promising. Let’s look past Nintendo’s string of iffy media (the original Legend of Zelda TV series wasn’t anything special, and let’s not talk about that Super Mario Bros. movie) and just hope that they get this one right.

Battlefield: Hardline Has Some Insane Reload Animations.

The beta for Battlefield: Hardline has been out for a couple of days, and that’s long enough for players to begin finding some easter eggs. Some of them are not so notable, but some, like the ones in the video above, are just bonkers.

This one, as noted in the video, is something that Battlefield developers added for some laughs. 1 in every 10,000 reload attempts, and gamers will get a very strange, and sometimes very awesome reload animation. They range from the mundane (putting in the wrong end of the RPG), to the absolutely ridiculous (making your gun disappear to reload?!).

DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition Shows Off Impressive Graphics.

The Definitive Edition for DmC: Devil May Cry is about a month away, and to whet our appetites, Capcom has given us two new videos to salivate over. The first (above) shows off the game running at 60 FPS and the newly added Must Style mode.

The second, which you can find here, shows off some more combos and the Manual Lock-On mode. Make sure to take a look and know that you won’t have to wait long to jump back into the beautiful, stylized world.

Sniper Elite‘s Zombie Army Trilogy is Coming To Next-Gen Systems Very Soon.

The Sniper Elite series is a weird one. It isn’t the best war simulator series, but something about them is strangely fun. After Sniper Elite V2‘s success, the team at Rebellion decided to give fans a taste of zombie mayhem; Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1 & 2 were released. Sadly, console gamers did not get a chance to shoot Zombies through the head, neck, and genitals.

Fortunately for us non-PC’ers, Rebellion has surprised us today and announced the Zombie Army Trilogy, a pack that contains both Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1 and 2, as well as the brand new Zombie Army 3. PC players can snatch up the bundle for 60% off if they own the originals, so there’s no reason for anyone not to play.

That’ll be it for today’s Games of Our Lives. Check back tomorrow for more news, and if you want to chat about any of the above, make sure you find me on Twitter @_anthonynash.
