Last week, we reported on a game breaking bug found in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Later that week, Konami detailed how to avoid this bug until a patch was created. Now, the patch is here and has fixed the issue on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
We’re happy to report that a fix for the Quiet/save data issue has now been implemented for PS4. The same fix for other platforms are coming

The bug involved the sniper/buddy, Quiet. If using her during missions 29 and 42, there was a possibility of the game’s Save Data being corrupted. Thanks to the latest 435.8 MB update, this should no longer be a problem for PS4 and PC users.
While this fix is currently for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions of The Phantom Pain, Konami assures users that it will also be introduced for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One soon.
