Square Enix has finally revealed the duration of the Xbox One exclusivity for Rise of the Tomb Raider. It will remain a console exclusive for one year, so the PS4 version will release holiday 2016. Windows 10 and Steam will get the game in early 2016, so PC games won’t have to wait an entire year for the game.
Along with the timed console exclusivity, Microsoft has had a hand in the development side of things for the game. Their involvement is likely support for the system, to ensure the game will run at its full potential on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is unknown whether the PS3 will get a version of the game after the exclusivity window passes, but I would guess that PS4 would be the main priority at that point in time.
