In a PS Blog post today, Sony has confirmed that racing simulator Gran Turismo Sport has been delayed to 2017. The game was originally going to release this November.
The reasoning behind the delay is that the developers want to take more time to perfect the game. “As we approach our planned release date in November, we realize we need more time to perfect GT Sport” said the Gran Turismo designer.
For those who were excited to get their hands on the game, this is unfortunate news. Earlier this year they also delayed a Gran Turismo Sport beta. The game also wasn’t shown at Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, it was however on the show floor. All that racing enthusiasts can do now is wait and hope that we’ll get to learn more about the game’s progress at the PlayStation Experience event in December.
