Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Edition Dated For PS4, Xbox One and PC

Earlier today, Konami confirmed on their official website that Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Edition will launch worldwide on October 11th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Edition includes Ground Zeroes, The Phantom Pain and all of the previously released DLC from both games.

The console version of this package is currently expected to retail for $49.99. The Steam version hasn’t been priced yet and may include some additional content. Konami is expected to reveal more info about this version soon. The official cover art for this collection is embedded below for you all to check out.

The announcement of this definitive edition isn’t surprising given that this was Konami’s plan since day one. This news also comes after the Gamescom announcement of Metal Gear Survive. I’ll be very curious to see if Konami rereleases this package again with Metal Gear Survive included at a later time. Only time will tell but I definitely wouldn’t rule this out as a possibility.

Are any of you planning on picking up this package in October? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
