GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that Suda 51’s upcoming PlayStation 4 third person brawler, Let It Die ,is back on track for release this year. The game will be playable at next week’s PAX East and a new trailer featuring gameplay footage has been released.
“The world we are creating will push the envelope for asynchronous, free-to-play. The trademark Grasshopper visual and narrative flair remains a signature for the title,” executive producer Kazuki Morishita said.
Suda 51 is best-known for directing the PS2-era title Killer 7 and the Wii exclusive series No More Heroes. More recently he directed Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer Is Dead.
PAX East takes place April 22 – 24 in Boston. PAX East attendees will also be the first to get hands-on time with a demo of the game.
