Earlier today, Guerrilla Games Community Manager Jeroen Roding confirmed in a PlayStation Blog post that the upcoming expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn titled The Frozen Wilds is scheduled to launch on November 7th. The Frozen Wilds was originally announced during PlayStation’s E3 2017 Media Showcase and continues Aloy’s story in the form of a new setting, new mysteries and even more dangerous machines to contend with. The debut trailer is embedded above for those who missed out on seeing it the first time.
Horizon Zero Dawn is without a doubt one of the most successful PlayStation 4 exclusives of 2017 and a bonafide game of the year contender. Today’s news marks what will be a fantastic lineup for Sony exclusives over the next few months with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Knack 2 and Gran Turismo Sport all on the way. Sony has promised more news on The Frozen Wilds as we get closer to launch. If for any reason you still haven’t purchased a PlayStation 4, now is definitely the right time to revisit that decision.
