The film, which hits theaters April 6th, is a supernatural horror story set on a farm where a family has been terrorized by a ghostly being for some time. The film has minimal dialogue, because silence is survival. Noah Jupe  and Millicent Simmonds round out the cast.

“We are particularly pleased to present John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place as our Opening Night Film,” said Janet Pierson, Director of Film. “Not only do we love its originality, suspense and amazing cast, we love seeing artists stretch and explore. While this is not Krasinki’s first feature as writer and director, it’s an exciting evolution for this multi-talented artist.”
