If you want to be a champion, you have to go against a champion.
Get ready to EAT because The Four: Battle for Stardom on FOX is proving to be anybody’s game. Tune in tonight at 8/7c to watch a host of newly minted contestants take on last week’s seat holders. It’s up to judges Diddy, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and Charlie Walk alongside host Fergie to direct this week’s battle. The competition is intense but in the end, audience members will make the final decision as to who will secure the bag!
- Last week, a new crop of talent made its mark throughout the competition. Newcomer Cheyenne Elliott has pedigree on her side – at 23, she’s the granddaughter of Dionne Warwick and cousin of Whitney Houston. Her rendition of “Wings” by Little Mix propelled her to challenge and triumph over a previous contestant.
- Fellow newcomer Candice Boyd’s cover of “I’m Going Down” by Mary J. Blige won praise from Trainor, emerging victory.
- Powerhouse singer, Jason Warrior also delivered some major keys with his performance of John Legend’s “Love Me Now,” joining other contestants as the third challenger.
- Still remaining from the premiere, 16-year-old Zhavia continues to be unchallenged securing her seat last week.
The Four is a fresh new take on musical chairs with a competitive element featuring four selected artists each week challenging newcomers to take their seat for an opportunity to make it to the top. The winner will earn the ultimate prize: to be named an iHeart Radio “On The Verge” artist in addition to having their song played on-air.
