Tamala Jones has been on the acting scene since 1995’s television hit series The Parenthood and blossoming in movies like Booty Call, The Wood, Kingdom Come, The Brothers, and Two Can Play That Game. She is also best known for television roles as Tina, the recurring character on Veronica’s Closet, Bobbi Seawright on For Your Love and Lanie Parish on the ABC crime drama Castle.
In Paramount Picture’s Home Ent. Release of What Men Want, which is out now on digital, DVD and Blu-Ray, Jones co-stars alongside Taraji P. Henson in this gender-flipped reboot.
Bringing out Jones’ hilarious and kindhearted side as Mari, the best-friend to Henson’s Alison “Ali” Davis. Mari is a girl who will stand by Ali’s side no matter what and more importantly saying whatever she wants.
