The Gentlemen is Guy Ritchie at His Best | Koalition at the Movies

Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen is his latest British crime flick, that highlights a bunch of criminal misfits who’s paths cross after a drug acquisition gone sour.

Mickey Pearson (played by Matthew McConaughey) is an American expatriate who became rich by building a marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business, it triggers an array of plots and schemes from those who want his fortune.

In the video above, Dana Abercrombie and I discuss what we thought of The Gentlemen and share some insight into what viewers should expect to see in theaters. Brexit may be around the corner, but I can confidently say that Guy Ritchie served the UK well in this latest production.

The Gentlemen releases today (January 23rd, 2020) in the United States. Let us know your thoughts in the comments once you get a chance to check it out.
