Dystopian Cyberpunk Platformer REPLACED Launches In 2023

Earlier tonight, Coatsink and Sad Cat Studios released a new trailer for their upcoming dystopian cyberpunk platformer titled REPLACED. Scheduled for release next year on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC, a new gameplay trailer debuted and is embedded above while some additional details are included below:

REPLACED is a 2.5D sci-fi retro-futuristic action platformer where you play as R.E.A.C.H. – an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body against its own will. The game blends cinematic platformering, stunning pixel art, free-flow action combat and a deep engaging dystopian story set in an alternative 1980’s.

Inspired by cyberpunk cinema like Blade Runner 2049 & Upgrade, developers Sad Cat Studios want to build an in-depth, complex world, with pixel art at the heart of REPLACED’s gritty, dystopian past.

Are any of you looking forward to checking out REPLACED next year? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
