WWE 2K22 Most Wanted DLC Pack Review – BANG! BANG!

Listen to this article

The 2nd wave of superstar DLC packs is now available on all platforms. The pack includes

  • Cactus Jack
  • The Boogeyman
  • Vader
  • Ilja Dragunov
  • Indi Hartwell

Now, this pack definitely has a little something for everyone. You have Cactus Jack and Vader for the long-time wrestling fans who remember their feud across multiple promotions. You can now re-create the infamous 1994 match the two had which led to Cactus losing his ear.

Dragunov is a cool edition from the NXT UK brand. He’s had some memorable matches vs Walter which led to him becoming the UK champ. He also has an interesting moveset. One move, in particular, needs to be assigned in the move edit menu which allows him to do his version of the rock bottom on the announcer table.

The Boogeyman has a great look and entrance which makes for an entertaining playable character in any match type. While active in the WWE, he would pop up here & there but the most notable feud is one with Booker T who was absolutely terrified of him. Last but not least is Indi Hartwell who is best known for being a member of the former NXT stable “The Way” and the love interest of Dexter Lumis.

Like the BANZAI pack, all wrestlers include their unique entrances, movesets, and announcer commentary. Depending on the matchups, Michael Cole and Cory Graves will provide a little back story such as the Boogeyman vs Booker T or Cactus Jack vs Vader. The one question I have about this pack is why Cactus Jack and not Mankind?

If you will recall, when Mick Foley joined the WWF he arrived as MANKIND. So in my mind, I would think this would be the first of his characters to appear in the game. Overall, each superstar in the pack has something to offer in regards to cool matchups and feuds with those in the current roster, especially in Universe mode.

Below is the release date schedule for the remaining packs

Stand Back Pack (June 7)

  • Hurricane Helms
  • Stacy Keibler
  • A-Kid
  • Wes Lee
  • Nash Carter (2K have confirmed he is NOT going to be in the pack, will be replaced with 2 My Factions cards)

Clowning Around Pack (June 28)

  • Doink the Clown
  • Ronda Rousey
  • The British Bulldog
