Yesterday, NetherRealm Studios released a brand new Mortal Kombat X trailer to show how Reptile will function in the next installment of their popular fighting game series.
The video embedded above gives us a preview of a brutal battle between Reptile and Kung Lao. We get to see a glimpse of the physicality used in his x-ray moves along with a very violent, yet entertaining fatality.
In addition to this news, Ed Boon has confirmed that a new character will be revealed during a Twitch gameplay stream scheduled for tomorrow. Further information on this event can be found in the image below:
After writing an in-depth preview of Mortal Kombat back in June, I’m thoroughly excited by where Ed Boon is taking the series and I look forward to finding out more about all of the new fighters who will be joining the cast.
Mortal Kombat X launches on April 14th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
