Team NINJA has announced today, along with KOEI TECMO America, the Steam PC version of DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round release date has been pushed back with a new scheduled launch date for Mar. 30th, 2015!
This is just the Steam PC version and has no effect on the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One launch date of Feb. 17th, 2015 in North America. In addition to the regular scheduled launch date for said platforms, Team NINJA has released the launch trailer for DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round and is viewable below. Also, gamers who want a small taste of the DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round can get their chance to play the main game content in DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round: CORE FIGHTERS for free. PS4 users will be able to download the version in PSN and includes fighters, Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ryu Hayabusa with almost every game mode unlocked.
Xbox One players will only get a free trail version of the game in the Xbox Games Store which offers the same features as the PS4 version. Xbox users who want to experience the full version of the game will have to purchase DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round: CORE FIGHTERS at a discounted price for the first two weeks after the release. The Xbox version will also include four more fighter not included in the PS4 version which are Hitomi, Tina, Jann Lee, and Bass. Furthermore, all content from DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Ultimate is transferable to the next-gen version of DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round and competitions are compatible for both the free and full versions of the game.
