E3 delivered some surprises but the biggest surprise was fourteen years in the making. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is actually happening.
During Ubisoft’s press conference they unveiled the prequel alongside a cinematic trailer. Taking place before the birth of Jade — the protagonist of the first game — it takes place on System 3, the 24th century in a solar system where resources are limited, and private firms fight over the scraps that are available.
If that wasn’t enough, Ubisoft Montpellier is inviting players to participate in the development of the game via the Space Monkey Program.
Unfortunately, Ubisoft platforms nor a release date was announced.
