Bobby Tahouri To Score Marvel’s Avengers

As Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montréal work on putting the final touches on the highly-anticipated Marvel’s Avengers, the studio is plotting a reunion with Rise of the Tomb Raider and Iron Man composer Bobby Tahouri to score the game.

Speaking with Variety, Tahouri stated:

What made composing for Marvel’s Avengers so special is that I got to write music for so many unique superheroes, all in one game. After coming up with one Avengers theme, I designed a palette of sounds and instruments specific to each superhero.

Jack Grillo, principal audio designer at developer Crystal Dynamics, said:

Working with Bobby was amazing. He immediately took to the challenge and always understood what we were going for. Bobby’s themes are unique and inspiring. I’ve been working with some of these pieces regularly for the past five years and I still got the chills when I heard the final masters for this soundtrack.

Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on September 4, with the releases on the next-generation of consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X scheduled for a late 2020 release.
