Yesterday morning, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first official trailer for their upcoming Birds of Prey DC Extended Universe film. The video embedded above gives us a quick overview of the plot while also introducing us to the other characters that Harley will align herself with in the film. Included below is a screenshoot of Harley’s team along with a brief synopsis of the film.
Birds of Prey takes place after the events of Suicide Squad. Harley Quinn starts a new life after breaking up with Joker and joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to protect a young girl being persued by Black Mask.
Jurnee Smollett-Bell takes on the role of Black Canary while Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Rosie Perez are Huntress and Renee Montoya respectively. Chris Messina will take on the role of deranged serial killer Victor Zsasz. Finally, Ewan McGregor is set to star as Black Mask.
