Bloodborne Set to Release in Japan on February 5th, 2015

Earlier today, Sony held a pre TGS press conference in which Shuhei Yosida officially announced that Bloodborne is coming exclusively to the PS4 in Japan on February 5th, 2015. A brand new gameplay trailer accompanied this announcement and is conveniently embedded above for you all to check out.

Bloodborne is already being heralded as the spiritual successor to Demon Souls and is easily one of the most anticipated PS4 exclusives out next year. News of this release date comes only a few weeks after the game’s producer said that they are looking into adding a Photo mode feature to heighten the overall gameplay experience.

Now that we have a Japanese release date set for Bloodborne, how much longer will we have to wait for both US and European launch timelines? That information is currently unclear, but hopefully Sony will provide more clarification on these answers soon.

Are any of you looking forward to Bloodborne? Do you think it will live up to all the early expectations set before it or is it destined to fall short? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on the game and more in the comments section below.
