The first proper gameplay footage of Dark Souls 2 has arrived in the form of a 12 minute video courtesy of IGN.
The new footage shows off numerous gameplay scenarios and explains some of the new features that game has compared to the previous game, the video also shows off new areas including the ‘Mansion of the Dragons’ where a fight is shown against a skeletal dragon.
The gameplay features commentary from FromSoftware’s director Yui Tanimura and Namcobandai global producer Tak Miyazoe, additionally there is a further 10 minute video which is just a Q&A with the aforementioned people which goes into specifics about the game.
