Earlier this week, Funimation, Toei Animation and 20th Century Fox have released a brand new trailer from their upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly animated film. The dubbed trailer embedded above is nothing short of exciting and will appeal to both new and loyal fans of the popular Dragon Ball anime series. Feel free to check out the trailer along with an official description of the movie included below.
“Dragon Ball Super: Broly” follows the events of the hit anime series “Dragon Ball Super,” the first new Dragon Ball storyline from original creator Akira Toriyama in more than 18 years. Since premiering in summer 2015, “Dragon Ball Super” has propelled the popularity of the franchise globally – with both lifelong fans and a new generation of children and teens. The last Dragon Ball film, “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’” (2015), was a box office hit – grossing $8M in North America to become the first independent film to make the Top 10 list of highest grossing anime films domestically.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly hits theaters in the US on January 16th, 2019. Are any of you planning on watching the film? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
